This was my first time cruising along with my boyfriend and so we didn't want to pick a long cruise and we liked that the entire cruise was open bar. The buffet wasn't that great, but to be honest, that's how I feel about most buffets. However, the complimentary restaurants are pretty darn good. So I recommend that you explore those options. If you go during the prime dinner times, I suggest you make a reservation. Otherwise, you could pretty much walk in! Don't expect any amazing cocktails, but for being included, the bar was FANTASTIC! Mojitos, cosmos, this & that drinks, etc... they were great to me!

As for the activities, there is plenty to do. I am Latina and there was plenty of Latin music on this ship. However, I noticed that there are a lot of folks with Indian/Bangladeshi, etc backgrounds and thought maybe more diverse music for that demographic would've been nice. I would've enjoyed it!

Also, I was cheap and only got a inside stateroom on the 8th floor. I felt like the hallways smalls like poop sometimes and my boyfriend agreed. But by the end of the trip, either I was desensitized or the issue was fixed because I didn't smell it anymore. I HIGHLY recommend upgrading to a larger room if you are sharing your room.
