This was a fabulous cruise! Picked up at hotel by RCCL rep, and stopped by another hotel before the 2 hour drive to pier. Embarkation was fairly smooth. Less than 30 minutes from Southampton pier (hotel and transfer via RCCL) to Windjammer. Dinner mates were fun and interesting Brits. Our waiter Emmanuel was charming, witty and dedicated to service. It felt like he had no other tables to wait on. On to itinerary. Brugges was beautiful and chocolates were fabulous. Oslo would have been perfect, if we could have ziplined down from Holmenkollen. Rain made it too difficult to try. Hamburg's Miniature Museum is amazing!!!! From what we heard, entrance is easier if you book as an excursion instead of freelance. Normandy, France is solemn. We saw Pointe du Hoc, Omaha Beach, American Cemetery, and Caen Museum. A must excursion for history buffs. Spent a day before and after cruise in London, and the extra hotel nights were well worth it.

Cabin Review

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

Cabin was not completely clean (old water bottle under sofa), but attendant took great care of us. Near the "hump", with fast access to stairs/elevators but never noticed any significant noise. Balcony did not get much use, due to the cool weather. One deck above Royal Promenade made it easy to get in or out of the action.
