I have been on two other smaller RCCL ships, a half a dozen Carnival ships and the Disney Magic. I really like cruising, but the size of this ship is amazing. Because of the size there is so many things RCCL can do on a ship this size that the other lines can't do. Overall, I would still pick a Carnival cruise for better food and value over RCCL, but would not miss an opportunity to sail on the sister ships in the Oasis class.

Some good things: big public restrooms, broadway quality show, top-name headliner show, great activities on ship, room 8729 (Boardwalk balcony) great views and can watch Aqua theater from balcony, escargot on main dining room list of classic appertizers so I can have them everynight, lobster and seafood specials last night in buffet for dinner.

Some letdowns: bathroom super small in stateroom, overall stateroom size and storage smaller than on smaller Carnival ships, main dining room food just ok, no Warm Chocolate Melting cake every night, nickel and dime you, too many specialty (ie - pay more) restaurants, no 24/7 soft serve ice cream

Cabin Review

Boardwalk View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin B1

Awesome cabin! I would only want to get an end boardwalk balcony again. We could see out the back of the ship and had an excellent view of the diving show and outdoor movies a the Aqua Theater. The only room better would be the suites.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

You get on and off the ship.

Labadee

Not bad for a beach day, but everything else is overpriced and long lines. Would not feel I'm missing anything if I never went back.

Falmouth

We bought jewelry in the port shops. Has all the shopping you want "inside the gates". I have no desire to come back to Jamacia.
