Booking and travel preparation well organized. Polarlys is one of the smaller ships which offer better contact to other passengers and personal. Furniture and facilities on board in good condition. Arctic Superior outside cabins quite comfortable with WLAN and TV. TV channel 1 showing permanently actual position of ship on a map. Expedition team providing lot of information about crossed areas and points of interest as well as organizing activities on board and excursions ashore. Excellent kitchen and restaurant service.

Some cavalier customers occupied the few seats in the Explorer Lounge with clothes or personal belongings all over the day but didn't show for long time or were sleeping, complaints and disputes when other passengers had taken "their" seats in the meantime. This boorish behavior should be strictly ground down by the service personal.

Unfortunately Hurtigruten didn't allow passengers to have a look on the technical infrastructure of the ship like navigation bridge, drive systems and components, water and power supply, waste water treatment etc.
