Overall my boyfriend and I had a fun week away. We were very happy with the sanitation precautions throughout the entire ship, keeping everyone healthy and well. The buffet had a good variety of breakfast and lunch choices. We thought the entire cruise staff was friendly and hardworking. The two staff members that really made our trip even better was Rowener Corcega our statement steward and Robert Labilles our bartender. We had a ton of fun and laughs at the night time entertainment in the Atrium. Our destination to Bermuda was absolutely beautiful, had a wonderful time on our excursion, site seeing, and seeing the crystal caves. While we did have a very enjoyable trip there are some areas that could be improved to make the experience truly wonderful. Due to large groups of people if you did not get up at the crack of dawn to claim a chair it was impossible to find a chair vacant midday. Overcrowding seemed like pain point with limited space in the pool/ hot tub area and also the atrium which was held for entertainment events. We had to plan and rush throughout the week to have a place to sit for night time entertainment and for dining. For the Breakaway being such a large ship we were a little shocked on how small the main pool was on the top deck. At times, it was very difficult to get in the pool or the hot tubs due to the combination of small pool size and overcrowding.

Specialty dining wise, Wasabi sushi was probably the biggest let down of our trip. We were really looking forward to dining at this establishment, but ran into too many issues to really enjoy the experience. From start to finish we felt nothing but frustration from things like: multiple errors on our order, lack of refills on our water and service was very slow even though dining area was very empty of guests.

One last piece of information it seems as if Norwegian has taken the tipping system into their own hands as of a few months ago. Norwegian has enacted a mandatory $14 a day(per passenger) fee which we were not informed of, at the end of our trip we noticed a $196 service fee charge for this program. We completely agree that the workers should be tip fairly but it should be up to our discretion to make that decision. Most likely due to other passengers tipping poorly or not tipping at all so keep that in mind.
