We chose this cruise to give us a glimpse into the South Pacific Islands. We got the glimpse, along with the 1,000+ children who were on board. Didn't know it was an Australian school holiday period and the date included Easter made it the fun ship for kids. Lots for them to do - from the climbing wall, mini golf, sports courts, kids' programs and surfing/waterboarding. But we didn't have children with us and it was hard to escape the large families that seemed to populate this cruise. Large majority were Australians and they love to party! We still enjoyed this cruise - and have nothing bad to say about the ship itself or the service - but it wasn't the leisurely, romantic South Pacific cruise we expected. Staff in the dining area did seem to have trouble keeping up with the number of people and the mess children often leave behind when eating but give it a good effort. Another time of year would have been better, so if you don't have young ones, beware of booking this type of cruise in April.
