We are a young couple, and we'd like to travel and to enjoy to local cultures. This is our second cruise, and we decided to try another part of the world. After checking different itineraries and cruise lines, we decided to go for Royal Caribbean.

Let's start from the beginning, we had booked the 8 night Singapore to Hong Kong cruise, which sounded great with interesting ports of call. After exploring four days of Singapore, we boarded on Saturday the Voyager of the seas. The first thing we noticed was that from the outside the ship looked a little bit dirty. Anyway, we were excited to board and to explore the ship. Boarding in Singapore was extremely easy and fast. In 30 minutes we were on the ship and in our stateroom. We had booked a balcony stateroom.

Our balcony stateroom was a little bit old fashioned, but OK. The sheets on the bed were not entirely clean, but were changed immediately. The bathroom was just OK, the toilet brush was hanging more on the floor, than on the wall. The balcony of our stateroom was nice, but not that clean. As we are not that picky, we decided not to complain and to start our vacation on board.

Port Reviews

Nha Trang

Beach city - no to have seen, but will not reconsider to go again. Small taxi ride from the actual city (we paid 4 US dollars).

Singapore

Singapore is an amazing city to visit. We enjoyed the food, culture and the sights Singapore had to offer.

Bangkok (Laem Chabang)

Bangkok : famous for it's street markets and very friendly people.

Laemchabang is very far from Bangkok, please ensure you have reserved any transportation beforehand. We were lucky to book an Uber, but not sure if this is always available.
