My review really isn't fair when it comes down to it. I tend to compare ship to ship and well this ship REALLY lacks the "wow" of the other ships I have been on. Everything from the decor of the ship to the staff aboard it just needs some serious help. We did like that the embarkation process was so much faster since the changes, yet scary at the same time. Cabin was 2338 and no matter how we tried it got hot at night. We asked them to look at it and was told its working fine and at Carnival standards. Yeah I'm thinking of taking a fan next time. Food was great thru out the ship. Really did not like how you had to go to one floor go over and down to get around on this ship. And seriously the decor is so outdated and sad since it was in dry dock recently. No ice sculptures done, no really displays of food decor like on previous ships. No night time deck party. We had two teenagers with us, the club needs more activities for them to be challenged in more schedule information for the parents. Ports...........all were fine, basically just shopping when it came down to it. Belize is like going from the ocean to the river though...yes its dirty. No desire to do this particular cruise again unless there is and updated ship with more fun to it. Dinning was not to standards I do feel we were on a ship full of trainees this was strictly in the formal dinning area.
