Just back from the 14night British Island / French open cruise. This was our 4th Celebrity cruise and 6th cruise in total.

the good:

The ship is one of the larger ships, holding about 2,900 passengers, but there never seemed to be crowds, except waiting for coffee at the coffee bar on deck 5. Because we had very few sea days, we didn't have the usual issue of getting a seat, as many people skipped the pool and did something else in the limited time we had. The temperature wasn't very hot either most days. Our room, 6259, was mid ship and a partially blocked view from the balcony. It was one of our better rooms, noise level was low, as the specialist restaurant was below. The room was nicely laid out, and a lot of storage room. The entertainment was better than average most nights. I don't have very high expectations, but I wasn't disappointed except for one night. The crew was generally very good and caring. I didn't get bombarded with the normal upsell for the various packages Celebrity sells.

good location, and quiet. By now, they should have replaced the drapes. they were ripped and old.

it is possible to walk from the National Express terminal thru the shopping Mall to the ship. About 15 minutes
