First let me start out by saying that in the last 2 years or so my wife and I have been 3 cruises with RC. And up until last week thought there was no better cruise line out there.

However sadly our cruise on the Allure left me with such a bad taste in my mouth that I'm not sure I will ever return to RC. The ship is most definitely a sight to behold with plenty of activities to keep you busy and beauty and class every where you look. But sadly the service and attention to detail was lost at some point.

We had booked a Grand suite ocean side and found that the room was extremely smaller than the grand suits on the smaller ships. Although embarkation was a breeze this is where the trouble started. Once we received our sea pass we noted that we were not given the deluxe drink package that we paid for (nearly $900) we brought this to the attendants attention and we were told that we would have to go to Bar services once we were on the ship and get it taken care of it ourselves. After that fiasco we decided to get some lunch while we were waiting for our room to be ready. We went to the coastal kitchen which was absolutely beautiful. Long story short 45 minutes to get a drink and another 40 minutes for our food with maybe a total of 15 people in there.

Grand Suite with Balcony

Cabin GS

pretty standard a Whole lot smaller than the grand suites on the independence or the Freedom.
