We just completed our first cruise ever on the Allure of the Seas. We had stops in Labadee, Jamaica, and Cozumel. Western Caribbean.

Big thank you to all the cruise critic posters. We have been reading and reading for months. Once on board, so much of the advice you gave was noted for being accurate. Here is our way of paying back. Hope it is helpful.

This was our first cruise and we really did not know what to expect. In no particular order, here are our thoughts. We had two rooms. Outside facing balcony on the 7th deck. One room was my wife and I. About 12 rooms down, our kids (17,19,21).

Cabin Review

Superior Ocean View Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D7

Clean room. Loved the balcony. Had a great room attendant (Mishael, I think is the spelling).

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy on an off the boat. I was worried, but should not have been. The staff is obviously really good and moving a large number of folks on and off the boat.
