My intent was to explore the Baltic and particularly St. Petersburg. The ports of call were interesting but another day in St. Petersburg would have made the time spent more relaxing. Since I have travelled extensively with HAL, four star, I was quite disappointed in the entertainment. Big screen movies in my book do not classify as entertainment, yet, we had four nights of movies. The pianist was a good choice but sadly, his piano was quite out of tune. Surely, someone could have arranged for tuning since a pianist was slated to appear. The Adaggio duo were excellent but the performers in the BBKings lounge were at best mediocre. The staff in the diningroom as always was pleasant and the food choices were excellent. Missing aboard this ship were a wider choice of organized onboard activities, a librarian and a self-service laundry. Embarkation and disembarkation were well organized and operated smoothly. I was particularly impressed with the final disembarkation organization.

Neat and tidied by our attendants who promptly fulfilled our requests. The room was adequate for those who do not need frills.
