I checked 3 other cruises prior to booking this one... I checked Viking, Avalon, and Royal Caribbean. I chose this one because it was a newer ship, the expected stops and the reviews on this Ship came back higher then the others I looked at. I liked the size of the ship because it caters to only 185 people- I have cruised on many large ships and disliked how you have to wait in line to do everything and you are catered to a little less.

To name a few of my favorite employees on the ship: there was Blagoi, "Mr. B" took good care of us in our room- he kept our room so nice and was so helpful overall as well as a pleasure to speak with. Valentine who worked in the dining area during breakfast never forgot that I like cream with my coffee- each day depending on where you sit you have a different server, he would still go out of his way to bring me my cream so that I could have nice hot coffee each morning, and go out of his way to just say hello to us. Sandrea was wonderful and helpful and he worked in the dining room as well. Johnny who played the music each night he was just wonderful! Last but not least, was the cruise director, Michael, he was just fantastic.... I miss how he would say "good morning" each day over the announcement.

I would definitely recommend this cruise to our friends! The experience was amazing! Thank you all Emerald Sky employees.
