petra

This was a cruise to tick off 2 bucket list items, Petra and Suez Canal,

We arrived early Monday morning and got to the port at 8:45 ish, Celebrity opened check-in at 9am for around 100 of us but we did have to wait until 11am to get on the ship.

We were expecting warm temperatures but not the 37-43 centrigrade we had.

Cabin Review

Concierge Class 1

Cabin C1

Cabin was midships, clean comfortable but needs new soft furnishings.

Port Reviews

Katakolon (Olympia)

We have been to Olympia on a previous visit to Katakolon so stayed in town, and what a pretty town this is, dont simply pass through, it is worthy of an hour or two.

Athens (Piraeus)

having been to Athens many times and having spent time in the city we stayed in Piraeus, we walked to Mandraki harbour and this is a lovely place to while away a few hours, as we know the short cuts we only saw 1 beggar, despite an American moaning there were hundreds ??????
