I chose Ovation of the Seas for the itinerary and the newness of the ship, and the price. With over 4,000 people onboard, it was outstanding to find the restrooms always spotless. The quality and choice of food was very good, although the speciality restaurants were nothing special. The staff were very friendly. The excursions could do with improvement. There wasn't enough information given. Their hop on hop off bus tour excursion in Hong Kong was a prime example. They charged you for the 3 loops, red, green, and blue, but there wasn't near enough time to do all 3 and the ferry ride and sampan ride which were also included. The buses were late picking us up, which cut our Hong Kong excursion very short, this was very disappointing and bad value for money. If they're going to supply an excursion they should ensure that paying clients get value for their money.
Disembarkation was chaotic. People had colour coded luggage tags, which determined the time they should present to the gangplank for disembarkation. It wasn't enforced, management were nowhere be seen, and what followed were queues for hours and fights among the guests. It spoiled what was a lovely cruise break.
Comfortable, fresh, with lovey comfy big bed and powerful shower.
