I chose this cruise for the southern carribean itinerary from san juan puerto rico. We decided to use the cruise line transportation system from airport to pier. We came in at 0930 a.m. and had to wait unitl 11:30 to be transported as they were awaiting other incoming flights; wish i would of known this in advance. Our embarkation was quick as we arrived at the ship at 12 noon. All personnel on the ship were professional; friendly and helpful. We have cruised many times before with royal but this was our first time on the adventure; last year we sailed the Allure, which i believed spoiled us; much better inclusive dining options; and entertainment. the adventure had minimal dining options; windjammer was cafeteria style with average food and selection; specifically focused on hispanic culture cusine; the sorento was a cafe type place that offered a bit to eat; but would definately not be considered a dining option for a meal. Diners at night were good. Entertainment was great some nights; other nights lacking creativity. The ports of southern carribean were beautiful; st. thomas, st. kitts, curacao and aruba; although a few of the stops were short visits and really didn;t allow more exploration before we had to get back on the boat. Overall a good cruise but again, spoiled by the larger ships and the offerings.
