All was excellent. The cabin, the entreteinment and the food. We felt so happy to join this cruise. The ports where so interesting. We bought some tous on board. We stayed alone at some other ports. And we hired an independent tour agency and guide in other ports like Buenos Aires (big city!!!ports - -punta arenas and ushuaia tours were fine, but scenery was old hat to those of us lucky enough to live in forested areas -buenos aires: we had a tremendous guide there LIZ ANDREA (liz2arg@yahoo.com) The best experience! -falkland visit to bluff farm was very enjoyable -- no long drives, lovely tea included, just enough time to enjoy the penguins room - upgraded to a mini-suite, which came in handy, as it was either too blustery or too sweltering to use the balcony food - varied from mediocre to excellent -- bread, seafood and dessert consistently above average - pizza recipe appeared to have changed, with an acidic sauce and odd-tasting cheese -- this was a disappointment -main courses in dining rooms underseasoned for our taste HIGHLIGHTS -tremendous tango performances -entertaining and informative port

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

  • Buenos Aires
We wanted to be alone during those ports. We got walking tours but stayed longer at Buenos Aires post cruiseship. So we decided to get a Private Tour with the Best Tour Guide in Buenos Aires. We google and got her reviews in Trip Advisor and she organized a group to enjoy a Van leaded by her directly (not by any unknown guides) so we did a flexible tour. She handled it well and interact with us to customized the tour to our origins. (british or jewish etc) And gave anecdotes and did games to integrate. Really fun! (liz andrea: liz2arg@yahoo.com)
