This cruise fit our spring break schedule and air travel worked. We had been to 3 of the 4 ports and knew we liked them and were excited to see the Cayman Islands which were new for us.
Not that it matters at all to enjoy a cruise but, I was so unimpressed with the "look" of Glory. She had just returned from dry dock and I was expecting new and beautiful. While the new part was nice, the decorating, in my opinion, is just plain ugly. Most ships will have at least some beautiful indoor spots, maybe a photo op area, Glory just had the strangest assortment of decór that, for me, just did not go together well at all. We called the club area the "birthday party cake club" due to the strange candle-like things on the walls outside making it appear to be more of a daycare than a club. Anyway, as I said, the decorating of a ship doesn't affect the overall experience much.
The comedy shows were plentiful and very good. Piano bar was good and the open area entertainment was also very good and plentiful. Most shows were very good. Sorry Eric, "what's going on", but we avoided some activities just because we did not want to be subjected to Eric and his constant talking and repetitiveness - annoying is the only word I can use to describe Glory's cruise director. Overall, I would give entertainment an A-.
Great balcony although gets a little dirty. (due to soot from engine? not sure)
We walked around, enjoyed the port town and people were very friendly. Would like to explore more here on a future cruise. Had a drink and snack at the Wet Lizard and enjoyed wifi.
just shopped, had some drinks, disappointed that Margaritaville did not have the inflatable toys in the ocean this time but they say they are coming "soon"
