I had never been on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera. This made cruise number 13 for me aboard Carnival ships. I enjoyed the cruise although the ship is older and smaller than some of Carnival's other ships. The decorations were a bit weird with all of that grape theme throughout the restaurants. The food was good. The entertainment was a waste of time.

The vast majority of personnel aboard the ship were very nice. The lady who was the casino manager clearly had no idea what she was doing. The dealers were friendly. The pit boss and especially the casino manager need to be transferred to the pizza parlor. The bar service at the gambling tables was very slow. Do your gambling in Las Vegas or other locations as the casino on board the ship is just a joke. The only blackjack table that had 3/2 odds was the Fun 21...Regular blackjack was 6/5. Not worth your time!
