This cruise had a great itinerary which took you to Rio for Carnival. The hard-working staff is doing their best, led by a super cruise director, but the ship is showing it's age. Celebrity needs to either update the ship or move it out of their line. It does not meet their standards.

We have sailed on the Summit and the Constellation (other M-class ships) and they are in much better condition than the Infinity. Celebrity already has announced the Eclipse will sail the South American itineraries in 2019 that the Infinity has sailed for over ten years, so maybe the Infinity is headed out of the fleet with the introduction of the EDGE class.

Biggest disappointment was a shore excursion to a tango that dumped us at the terminal at midnight instead of taking us all the way to the ship. Shame on Celebrity for allowing this. When I complained, they claimed the port authorities were to blame, but I seriously doubt the Silversea passengers were treated this way!
