Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Ocean View

This was my 5th Carnival cruise in 2 years. Can you tell I like cruising? Carnival is a GREAT cruise line. But this sailing was different. It was cold and windy so hanging out on deck was limited for us. We couldn't enjoy the outdoor movie because it was just too cold at night. There were a lot of activities on board. Unfortunately, everything I wanted to do overlapped or interfered with dinner so I was left with choosing 1 activity and spending the rest of the day in my room. Also, on my previous Carnival cruises, I came away with a lot of free stuff and discounted purchases. There was none of either of those things on this cruise. I was very disappointed. But this will not stop me from sailing with Carnival: 1 out of 5 is excellent in my book.

On the up side, the Scarlett Steakhouse was phenomenal. We were well tended to and the food - yum! I don't know what they did to that lobster tail, but we both loved it. That first bite made our eyes widen with glee.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6A

We had an ocean view cabin that had a couch in the seating area. It was awesome. Especially since I ended up spending more time in the room than I wanted.

Port Reviews

Freeport

We went to the beach, but it was too cold to get in the water, so we just ate at Junkanoo Beach Club and enjoyed the view.
