We chose this cruise for the itinerary. It was our 1st time sailing with Celebrity. Unless you are an Elite Club member, your choices in restaurants, food, bars and level of service is extremely limited. We found the obvious class segregation very distressing, this was a once-in-a-lifetime cruise and very expensive, but we felt like 3rd class steerage passengers. We would walk by several restaurants and a private bar every day but we weren't allowed inside. They even had a sign on one bar that said 'for members only', it had glass windows so you could see inside at what you were missing. The cruise ship was older and small so it made it easy to get around. However, being small it didn't provide very many restaurant or entertainment choices.
Pros:
Itinerary
Cabin was centrally located mid-ship. Balcony was roomy with 2 high-back chairs and a small round table, although the glass was dirty. Closets were roomy and plenty of hangers. Drawers were plentiful, but they were behind a door and cumbersome to get to. Sofa and dressing table were small. Curtains were not room darkening. Climate control was iffy at best. Bathroom and shower size were large. Bathroom amenities were nice. Towels were worn and thin, wash cloths were stained. TV movies were pay-for-view. Very limited weather, sea-state, miles sailed etc, or detailed maps displayed on cruise status channel.
