We love the Sea of Cortez itinerary and this was a great trip. The other people on this cruise were great and we meet lots of other interesting people. We had lots of stimulating conversations. The crew is a happy one and do all they can to take care of any problem you may have. The food was good with just a few exceptions.

The complimentary wine selections have improved enormously since sailing with them 8 months ago. That really made the meals even better

Wish that Coors Light was on the list of complimentary - had to pay 2.75 for it. Bud Light is complimentary. But that sure is a small complaint.

Captain Jose was amazing keeping us closer to shore to avoid swells after one of the California storms. He even told us that we would be near St Ignacio lagoon at sunset - this is a Grey whale sanctuary where there are lots of whales and dolphins - unfortunately we did not see much from the ship but I sincerely appreciated the try for it. When was the last time you had a cruise ship even look for wildlife much less tell you to watch for it!

Club Continent Suite

nice size and like the shower only option

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

New shore excursion that turned out to be a real treat. We went through an estuary where we were almost close enough to touch great blue heron, egrets, and lots of other birds. Something like 40 different species were identified. I'm not into "birding" but appreciate the beauty of them and couldn't believe how gorgeous they were close up. We even saw iguanas draped across trees 4 feet away.

The lunch was good and the tour guide was just a great guy who knew his birds but also has worked to save the turtles in mexico

La Paz

Having a shuttle from the ship to downtown was appreciated. Little town with nice beach across from the main drag.

Dance of the Dead at Wild Canyon. Great event - more like cirque du soleil - lovely. Amazing organization to get over half the ship there - just looking at the stars out there was so enjoyable. One of the best female singers I've heard doing traditional music.
