We traveled on Quest as part of a group of 40 golfers on Perry Golf cruise.  Our experience with the ship was very good.  It was different from our previous cruises.  Note we are not big cruisers - maybe 3 times on Disney, once each on Princess, Windstar, and MSC - so our review may not be as extensive as some who have cruised extensively.

The ship itself was in good shape - especially with its 20 yr age.    As others have noted, the cabins are older style and the bath is quite small - but we were fine with it.  It reminded us somewhat of our cabin aboard Wind Surf.  We had a balcony and while we used it sparingly in the Scottish weather - it was still nice to have the extra room and view.

The crew was very good - thought perhaps not as personable as others have mentioned.  A few remembered our names and most were very courteous.  They did seem a little under-staffed at times.  For instance, sometimes the public bathrooms were not fully stocked and some of the public areas could use some TLC.  As opposed to Disney where there always seemed to be someone cleaning, picking up, straightening etc everywhere.

The MDR food was good - but not overwhelming.  For foodies, perhaps there are better choices - though we heard from several guests that they had inconsistent food on other lines also.  Service in the MDR was a little slow for our taste - but we had success in later nights telling our waiter that we had a show to go to and needed to be more prompt.

We ate twice at specialty steakhouse, Prime C, and found it to be a cut (pun intended) above.   The much smaller venue gave us more attention as you would expect.  For us, it had everything you would want in a specialty dining experience.  We did not try the Italian dining nor did we hear any reviews.  Our steaks were well prepared and had great sauces if desired.  The sides were a little average with very good deserts.  

We did not find the buffet food or service to be up to par.  The staff seemed to be behind in cleaning tables so it was often difficult to find a clean one.  Also waiters appeared to be overwhelmed.  Not sure if they had a staffing issue ?  Buffet food was pretty standard but lacked a carved item except for embarkation day.  Breakfast was good - but the waffle station was manned by one person and he could get behind.

We had 2 very good meals in the Patio area near the pool.  There was a good variety of not just burgers but grilled fish, kebabs, etc.  Everyone there was exceptionally friendly and accommodating.  Also there is the frozen yogurt machines an toppings.

The entertainment has been unfavorably reviewed by some and we found it to be very high quality and the small group of 6 performers really put on some great shows.  they also interacted with the guests throughout the week with games, crafts, etc.  We had not seen this on other cruises.  Along with the main shows several nights, the individual entertainers were featured several times with excellent solo performances.  You dont go on this small ship for huge shows - but entertainment was a highlight for our group.  The Amazing Evening was aboard the ship and was excellent entertainers from Aberdeen Scotland !

We had good experiences at the spa and they did not seem as totally booked as other cruises we have been aboard.  There needed to be some small attention to details (needed towels in locker room at times, shampoo dispenser out, etc)  Again, perhaps they were under-staffed ?  We did not experience the hard sell at the spa we have had on other cruises.

Scottish weather played havoc on our western itinerary - but the Captain did an excellent job of keeping us informed and added an unintended stop in Glasgow and some extra time in Liverpool.  We certainly understood and it is something you may consider when in this area.  Because the ship is smaller and the North Sea can be rough - motion sickness could also be an issue.

We concluded that the Quest was great for our purpose of golf cruise - but perhaps not a ship we would spend a long cruise aboard - especially with sea days.  We can't compare it to its peers - because we are not sure just who they are and we have limited experience.  For us, we like to experience a new port many days and their Azamara country intensive was great.

Overall good experience aboard Quest 

We were on an 11 night Scotland intensive followed by an 11 night Ireland intensive. In any case it was a tremendous experience. 

If you aren’t familiar with Azamara , do some research. They aren’t for everyone. If you need flash, party party party and someone entertaining you 24/7, it’s probably not your best choice. There are activities for sure but it’s not like the big mass market floating amusement park/ shopping mall experience. Azamara  has a low key elegance that we love. Many of the public spaces are places to relax , read or play games with fellow passengers. The one shop is small. There is no casino. As I said, not for everyone. If I haven’t lost you yet, I’ll go with some more details. 

Activities: Frankly a bit limited during the day. There are fitness and spa offerings. Trivia games are pretty popular and offered several times a day in different lounges, public spaces. Because Azamara is often port intensive most people are off the ship. 

In the evening there are several music offerings and dance parties. 

Service: Absolutely off the charts. The crew is genuinely warm, friendly and welcoming. Waiters and servers are attentive without being intrusive. Staff cleaning or doing other tasks stop to acknowledge guests and wish them a good day. Bar staff quickly learn your likes. In 20+ years of cruising on several different lines I’ve not come across better crews. We’ve been on 3 Azamara cruises now on 2 different ships. Crew friendliness is a core value. 

Cabin:  We have always chosen a balcony cabin, can’t justify a suite. With the exception of the bathrooms I find the cabins spacious enough. There is plenty of storage. My wife is a fanatic about adequate storage and she is pleased. Beds are comfortable The bathrooms are another story. Yeah, they’re pretty small. The shower is especially small. I’m 5ft 10 and about 180. I fit ok buy I can understand the frustration of people much bigger. There’s only a shower curtain so you’re likely to get a little water on the floor. The bathroom is designed to manage that however. Sure it’s not ideal but really,how much time do you spend in the bathroom? 

Dining: Food is quite subjective of course but I think their food is outstanding. There is good variety in both the Windows Cafe (buffet) and Discoveries Dining Room. At lunch there is also a grill on the pool deck. They have burgers , other grill offerings as well as vegetarian options. There are specific times on all these so don’t expect to be able to eat constantly. There are , however finger food, tapas kinds of things in other locations much of the day. 

Children’s Activities: nada, zero. I’ve seen a couple teens and a bit younger but while children are allowed Azamara is not marketing to families. 

Entertainment: I can probably count on one hand the number of production shows I’ve seen on other cruise lines in my 20+ yrs of cruises. I went to every show every night on my Azamara cruises. They were so good and so much fun. Emily, the Cruise Director and Lee, the Asst CD are outstanding. They lead such a talented , fun group. 

Aside from production shows there is a house band who do popular tunes several times in the evenings. There’s also a piano player in who plays at places around the ship. 

Officers and Senior Staff: The crew is as good as it is because of who they are and the examples they set. Very friendly , helpful and approachable. The Capt had coffee every morning down in the Mosaic cafe. Marcelo, the Hotel Director, Lee and Emily would often be at The Gangway or helping people on and off tender boats. 

Embarkation and Debarkation: simple and painless. You get champagne during the safety briefing! 

I hope this gives you an honest review of my experiences. As I said earlier if you’re looking for “Vegas” glitz and 24/7 party energy, this might not be the cruise line for you. If you want a casual understated elegance with a warm and caring staff doing their best to bring you fun and adventure, this is it.

Lovely Ambiance Fabulous Crew: Perfect for Some…

We did a back to back cruise on Azamara Quest from Oslo to Dublin/Dublin to Southampton August 10-September 2.

We have traveled with Azamara on seven voyages since their first in 2007. This is our third Quest voyage. (All tallied we have sailed 30+ ocean going cruises.) Previously we liked the small perks on board Azamara such as fresh flowers, night time candies, varied quality entertainment (in addition to the ubiquitous 6-person entertainment crew), Az-amazing Nights off ship to local enrichment programs, superior quality food options in dining rooms and cafes, transportation in to towns when we were docked at a distance from town. All of this appears to have gone the way of the dodo with Azamara’s release from RCCL and purchase by a hedge fund. Cutting costs seems to be the theme here.

Prior to arrival we were instructed (in our passenger boarding papers) to arrive at the port according to cabin or Circle status (We are Discoverer Plus). There was no such preferred boarding at the site. 

Arriving at the departure port, we were asked to queue up, everyone together, outside to wait to get into the ‘secured area’. Once through the fence, we again queued up outside all together.  Most passengers did not have bag tags, so there was an unmarked table where we got tags. There were no Azamara staff directing us to that line nor were there any staff directing the check-in line. Passengers mostly told each other what was what. 

There were no bag carts or large baggage bins to be seen. However, employees wheeled the baggage to another site and took it on board. There were no typical dock workers or loading equipment around. 

Bottles of water were available but couldn’t be taken into the tented area through security so they were chucked in a can before going through security screening. Check in was a large white tent, without air conditioning, with several long folding tables where we queued up to check in. A totally temporary set up. We were then given a number and asked to sit down. Plastic folding chairs were provided. Groups were called by number to board the ship. Time allotted about 35 minutes.

In our opinion, this appeared to be a cost cutting measure. Reduced visible staff, no luggage tags, no permanent check in area. 

Once onboard, we were directed to passport control to check in at the Cabaret Lounge/Theater then to a group area where we were instructed in the muster station protocol. Time allotted about 30 minutes. 

We were then free to grab a bite, wander the ship or go to our cabins. 

The staff and crew are exceptional. They go above and beyond to serve and meet the needs of all passengers. They work long hours to make sure every one is cared for . This is the only part of Azamara that remains top notch . Without the crew, this ship would sink!

Kudos to each of you for maintaining some of the highest standards at sea!

The cabin: Azamara has always had the smallest showers at sea and that remains to be true. Showers are about 3 foot x 2 foot with cloth shower curtains. The remaining bathroom area is about 10 square feet. It has a single sink, 3 shallow shelves on one wall and a cabinet beneath the sink that has some empty space but is mainly for extra tissues, toilet paper, etc. 

Towels, robes, and bedding all appeared to have been recently refreshed and were in excellent condition. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the small sofa/loveseat or the ‘cushions’ on the balcony chairs which were badly worn and/or stained. The sheers and draperies had seen better days and were torn in spots and shredded in others. We noticed the chair pads on bar chairs in the Sunset Bar area were also badly stained and some even torn. Little things that might go unnoticed on lesser cruise lines but noticeable on a formerly glorious line like Azamara.

Dining: 

First, if you purchase dining packages beforehand, it will save some money. However, you cannot book your pre-purchased dining before boarding ship. There are 2 seating options at the up charge venues:  6:00-6:30 or 8:00-8:30. Period! 

If you book an even number of dining nights, they must be used 50-50 between Aqualina or Prime.

Aqualina: The Italian up-charge option at $49 per person. Our first night dining here, we found it difficult to find food we could eat because neither of us are fans of garlic and prefer not to eat it. When we asked to have the lobster ravioli served without garlic, we were told the lobster ravioli arrives frozen and has garlic in it. Why would anyone take a rich, tasty meat like lobster and add garlic? We went through every item on the menu with the waiter and every single thing, including the soups, had garlic! We chose not to dine here again, worked with the restaurants and moved our remaining prepaid dining to the Prime C.

Prime C: The steakhouse venue is also $49 up-charge per person normally. Our first night proved promising. We shared a steak which was lean and tender, properly prepared to our specifications. I enjoyed a perfectly crisped hasselback potato as a side. We dined here three times. Each time they were able to prepare garlic-free food for us, going so far as to separate the tuna tartare (no garlic) from the tempura shrimp (with garlic!). 

Windows Cafe: the menu changed very little from day to day. After a couple of days, the fresh fruit at breakfast  was limited to various types of melons, there was no longer papaya or mango. Most of the assorted fruits were canned or frozen (berries, pears, peaches,etc). Meats and cheeses no longer had turkey after 3 days, only salami, mortadella, ham and one other high fat choice. There was always one freshly made egg station, oatmeal, waffles and chicken congee but in other parts, little to no variety. Bread selections often ran out of English Muffins or whole grain dark breads. Lunches were nearly always the same except the carving station which usually had beef or pork. Dinners were “themed” out. Presentation was not particularly appetizing—pans of food at a tepid temperature. We found the cafe to be full most nights which is an indication of the quality of food in the Main Dining Room….heavily salted, poor presentation, never served hot, slightly rushed. 

In port/transportation service:

Leith/Edinburgh: We were docked in a no-pedestrian industrial area so a bus was provided to transport us to the closest pedestrian area which happened to be an unnamed road next to a closed casino, basically in the middle of nowhere. We spoke with the bus driver who told us they had trouble finding the location! We were advised to get onboard the public transportation tram and go into Edinburgh—about a 25 minute ride. Last year on the same trip, transportation was provided by Azamara into town on a regular basis throughout the day. Another cost-cutting measure—get your own transportation!

Aberdeen-Shuttles were available in to town approximately 10 minutes away. We did not use them as we had hired a taxi to take us to another location for golfing.

Invergordon- We docked at the Invergordon Cruise Port. A short walk around the buildings (none were open) we located our taxi. Again, we had pre booked a taxi for transport to a nearby golf course. No other transport was provided by Azamara. 

Kirkwall-Port location was about 2.5 miles from town. Shuttles to the Kirkwall Visitors center were provided. Taxis were not available. After calling the taxi company directly, I was told that there are 6 taxis in Kirkwall and all were pre booked for tours. Because we could not get a taxi to our previously booked Sunday dinner outside of Kirkwall, we had to cancel our plans.

Stornoway, Oban, and Isle of Man ports cancelled due to weather. 

Greenock Overnight: a ‘rescue port that was not planned. This is another industrial port. Transportation into Glasgow was not provided. The city is about a 30 minute bus or taxi ride away. 

Entertainment:

This is the biggest cost cutter! There were 6 members of the entertainment chorus—the singers and dancers that normally perform 3 or 4 nights onboard. Here, they were, along with the cruise director and lounge piano player the ONLY entertainment in the Cabaret excepting one night when a mentalist was on board and one night when the Red Hot Chili Pipers played for the Azamazing event. In years past, the ship transported passengers to a venue off ship where entertainment was provided. No longer! The entertainers come on board for a 45 minute show performed in two sets to accommodate all passengers. 

Emily and staff were very good. HOWEVER, we do not agree that they should be the main entertainment on the ship. We have cruised Azamara 6 times and been on over 30 cruises otherwise. Part of the enjoyment of cruising is have onboard entertainment that is varied, exceptionally talented, and often renowned. There is more to entertainment than singing by a group of 6 young people, a piano player, and a cruise director. We were completely disappointed that Azamara has chosen to cut costs by cutting variety in entertainment.

Since the second half of the back to back cruise was on the same ship we noticed basically a repeat of the first cruise in both food and entertainment. So very disappointed in what was once a top line...now just a bottom line.

As an aside, this is the exact review I submitted on board to Azamara. No comment as of yet from them.

Azamara has lost its luster and us as clients.

First trip on Azamara, but I’ve been on a very similar ship on my two Renaissance cruises in the 1990’s and Oceania Regatta; Renaissance was my favorite line due largely to the size of its ships, passenger mix and no smoking policy.The Quest was built for Renaissance but they went out of business right after 9/11 and never took possession.  So the ship is 2001 vintage but generally in good shape. On to the review.

Embarkation and Debarkation were both easy and well organized; boarded at 2 pm and the cabin was available within 1/2 hour; nice brunch available.

Cabin (Ocean view) had nice window, terrific comfortable bed with a very nice duvet cover; unlike Silversea Nova I never woke up sweating.  Bathroom is small, especially the shower, but otherwise fine.  A large amount of storage space and luggage fits under the bed.  The cabin was very quiet, in fact about the most quiet in the 30 cruises I’ve taken, but a lot of this is due to the passengers who were largely in the late 50’s to 70’s.  Our cabin steward cleaned the cabin twice daily and was otherwise unobtrusive.

Crew:  there were a large contingent of Filipino’s among the crew as well as many other nationalities; they were uniformly hard working.  Water and beverage service were really outstanding and used plates were removed efficiently.  Service all around on the ship was a strong point.

Passengers:  this was a golf cruise with a significant contingent; most passengers seemed to be from the US.

Food:  here’s the rub.  After an excellent experience on boarding day things went downhill.  The main dining room preparations were dismal; veal was poor quality, duck was rubbery and tasteless.  Ham served at a buffet lunch was somehow both fatty and dry.  As a result we only at there twice .  The other main restaurant was buffet service with a mix of good and bad.  Lamb could be dry and gray, or pretty good if in a sauce; prime rib served one day was very good.  Fish ( fish and chips) was also very good.  Desserts were sweet but disappointing.  Oriental preps were underspiced.

At breakfast the only berries were served in a small glass but they were quite good throughout the trip;  other than made to order omelets, fresh orange juice and decent bread products breakfast were humdrum.  Themed dinners (Indian, English, etc. ) were mixed.

We did not do a beverage pa Kate, but the included wines and beers were pretty low end.  

Specialty dining:  due to having a large on board credit we did a package of the steakhouse and Italian restaurant.  The Steakhouse had some good appetizers up the steaks were remarkably undersalted and adding salt after the fact is not a remedy.  The Italian restaurant was a bit uneven but they did have a nice lobster pasta.  I would skip these restaurants as they are not worth the up charge. 

The pool deck restaurant was okay, and a small cafe with tea, coffee and small bites was nice.

Entertainment:  I can’t help much here as I largely eschew this area in favor of relaxed reading.  The lecturer for the cruise, a history professor, was very good.  The White Night party was really good due to the young dancers, singers and band:  much much better than the one we attended on Crystal Symphony.

Excursions:  the 3 we did were nicely done but pricey.

Conclusion:  Oceania is a better food experience by far,  but if you are not picky or food is less important to you the Azamara Quest is a good experience.

A mostly good experience

We booked this cruise on the Persuit last year.  The information we received from Azamara prior to sailing was timely and helpful.  No complaints as all their comm problems are solved.  

This is our first trip to Iceland and we are so glad that we did it by ship on Azamara.  We used up our onboard credit on some expensive shore excursions, but booked several private excursions on our own.  They all went off without an difficulty.  We were in a veranda stateroom with was just fine.  Our room steward was Jennifer who was very responsive and so nice.  We ate most dinners in the main dining room, Discoveries.  During the cruise there was a special full brunch in the dining room that was fantastic.  Everything from whole smoked salmon to crepes.  The barbecue night for the White Night party was also a wonderful meal.  

Seeing parts of Iceland that are far away from the capital is really nice.  Each port had something special to see there.  

Azamara has great on board talent.  Honestly much better than the canned music on bigger ships.  We enjoyed all the shows, especially, Emily Love, who is a great singer and Cruise Director.  

As this was our second cruise with Azamara, we were invited to the Azamara Circle party.  We did not know what to expect, but this was a full spread of very good appetizers and small plates with cocktails.  Azamara really shows that they appreciate the repeat cruisers.  

We booked our third Azamara cruise -- Ireland for next year while onboard.  There are so many included perks to booking onboard, the I definitely recommend doing so.  

The embarkation and disembarkation was flawless and just about the only time we saw a line.  

We had the premium beverage package included.  The top one was the ultimate, but we did not see the value in upgrading.  Husband's favorite gin was included in the premium and any cocktail that I ordered was made within the premium range of liquor.  We also had wine at dinner.  Not the top shelf stuff, but it was about what we drink at home.

12 Night France Intensive Voyage

First the good

 Dining Room experince was great with super & friendly waiters. We had the same section each night & the same waiters for the entire voyage. Food quality average  (subjective I know ) not much different from Celebrity or Princess. You order anything or as much as you like, however I usually took our waiter's advice.

Housekeeping excellent & overall staff very friendly.

Entertainment average at best. Singers & dancers on the ship, while showing energy did not have the skills needed for some performances.

Officiers & Captain seen often during this voyage & friendly with all passengers.

Outside crew excellent in handling passengers on & off the ship, tieing up the vessel, & handling the Gangway.

Shore Excursions   Over-priced with some very poor guides. Bordeaux guide just average, Nates, Brest, Saint-Malo guide very poor. We had this woman 3 times & her performance never improved. Talked to Shore excursions on board about our experience. They listened politely, however I doubt things will change as this voyages only happens once a year. Guide in Guernsey was excellent. Guide in Oostende was also excellent.

WE missed White Nights due to a change in our excursion for morning to 2:45pm, but was assuerded we we be back in time for the start at 6:30pm. We did not return until 7:05. By the time we arrived at the barbeque & entertainment it was 7:35pm food was cold & some items not available. Live music ended & we did not have a good experience. So much for assuring us we would be back in time. Should have cancelled the excursion when time was changed.

Finally thought the wine choices offered on all the beverage package very average. We found the Rose acceptable, however the ship ran out of this wine days into the cruise & took another 3 days to restock. Therefore we never had a glass of wine from the second day on during this voyage.

Final Thoughts  Starting from Bordeaux we enjoyed some very nice wine we brought on board for the stateroom. The corkage fee is too high as the highest price we purchased in Bordeaux was 27 Euros. The bars that were open during the day were the Sunset & Pool Bars. Due cold, windy, & sometimes wet conditions these areas were seldom used. Why can't the Den open at 4pm ? Why does the piano player not even start untill 6:30pm. Very few activities during the day of interest for us. We did attend the featured lectures in the Cabaret. All of these ports were in industrial areas & we bused into the city or sites that were choosen. We will give azamara one more try, however it will be a very carefully choosen itineriary.

Azamara needs to improve some a better experinece

Ketchikan

We travelled from Barcelona to Bordeaux in Club Continent Suite. An entry level balcony suite, mid ship with butler service. Having travelled before in Verandah Suites, we loved the extra space around the bed, on the balcony and especially in the bathroom which had a generous walk-in shower. Butler Virgilio and stateroom attendant Mark were both lovely and very accommodating. 

We enjoyed the food in all the restaurants. Enjoyed the fresh salads and fruit in Windows, at breakfast and lunch. Patio at lunch was good too. Dinner rotated between Discoveries, Prime C and Aqualina.  The specialty restaurants were obviously smaller and quieter but we met interesting people at Discoveries.

Staff everywhere were friendly.

Love the atmosphere of White Night and the chance to salute the crew but it’s a bit of a bunfight   and difficult to easily select food.

We loved the itinerary and that the size of the ship allowed us to get to places like Seville and Bordeaux not normally accessible  to bigger cruise ships.

The selection of books in the library was disappointing. Clearly not updated for a long time. We can read on iPads but in the past on Azamara we have been able find books in the library.

The ship internet was woeful. Given that most of us use the internet now for almost everything, the poor speed and extreme cost of the internet onboard needs to be addressed. It’s fast and free in almost every hotel room so why so different on a “luxury” ship?

Very disappointed that the Guest Relation and Concierge people were very unhelpful in assisting with booking a taxi in Bordeaux. If you were not doing an organised transfer to the airport, they were not interested. We were staying on in Bordeaux so just needed a taxi booked for us. But no, too hard!!!!!

Good but a couple of things to work on!

Saint-Tropez

I was in room 431.  It was so noisy that I had to wear earplugs for most of my stay. Many staff members were not very friendly and the food was good but not excellent.  Holland America staff and food was much better.  One of the staff forgot to close the hatch on the floor on one of the tender boats and I fell part way into it.  I hurt myself pretty badly. I notified the purser and captain and they didn't seem to care about the room noise.  I was never offered another room or any compensation.  I would not recommend Azamara.  Their customer service is very poor. Also, the laundry facilities are far from adequate for almost 700 people.  I should have been offered another room or some sort of compensation.  Azamara advertises itself as a high end cruise line.  I did not find that to be true. They need to do better.

Bad experience

A great short cruise with a very mixed crowd. I was surprised by the amount of younger people onboard. I love the itinerary. Great stops and long hours in port. The service was fantastic. The food in general really good. The buffet could be slightly better sometimes. Entertainment was very good except for the show by the azamara singers and dancers. Overall a fantastic cruise on a great and comfortable ship. The outside cabin was small but cosy. And the type of shower curtain they used worked really well and did not stick to your body. The cabin steward welcomed us upon arrival and explained his availability. He always brought fresh bottles of water and kept the cabin very clean.  I will definitely do an Azamara cruise again. Keep up the good work! Most cruise companies go downhill nowadays but Azamara hasn't in my opinion. It was a 10 out of 10

Great cruise on Azamara Quest

Paris

Second time on Azamara, first cruised on Onward and loved the space, service, entertainment and the entire upmarket feel of it all so booked b2b on Quest.

In the nearly 2 years since last being on Azamara I kept hearing how the line had gone downhill and sadly it has!

My 2 cabins had peeling wallpaper that had roughly been re glued and peeled again, bedside lights were all scratched and the usb sockets underneath didn't work unless you messed with it for 10 mins and even then woke up to a flat phone on a few mornings, an electrician looked at it and said it's my cable however that cable worked fine when plugged into adapter on the desk and is working fine at home. I had a USB go on Onward and it was swapped and I was told Azamara bought the cheapest usb junk and some don't even work when new!

Bathroom is a joke for a 5 star ship!

Entertainment was so sub standard, sound system looked like it came from noahs ark by the pool and was loud at the front quiet at the back, the den had 2 speakers that wouldn't be good enough for a street busker. Only decent sound was in cabaret lounge.

Martin was cruise director and Vasi was on piano same as Onward but so not the same.

Week 1 was busy but week 2 was rammed, couldn't get a seat in the den and Vasi might as well have mimed as only a few by the piano could hear and one group most night shouted foul language but must have been in a top suite or tipped well as bar tenders didn't say anything and couldn't wait to push more alcohol at them.

No Azamazing evening, no guest speakers, no guest acts.

Vasi and Martin did the best shows, everything else was sub standard.

Best bit of the ship was Mosaic cafe and reminded me of the service you expect from Azamara

Food was really downhill from last time, service in discoveries was slow but food was OK, patio was closed nearly every other night for no reason and the buffet selection is too small, far too many cold meats cheese etc.

I left the bigger ships to have more space better service no lines etc etc but couldn't get a seat in bars, couldn't get a seat at white night week 2, had to queue for cabaret lounge for 20 to 30 mins most nights.

Can cruise cheaper with better cabin, shows and buffet etc for about half the price of Azamara so will not be coming back to Azamara but will be going back to Celebrity and trying oceania and Viking.

Sad to say goodbye to Azamara as thought I had found a regular cruiseline for travelling the world in my recent retirement.
