I rated this in the middle because we had a great time in spite of one of the most poorly managed and poorly designed ship we have cruised.

Embarkation was great but disembarkation was a nightmare. They allow you to choose the time that you depart but no one pays attention. We waited for our color which was based on our platinum status. Our friends chose the latest time but then decided to just "jump on the line" and finished 45 minutes earlier than us! As part of one of the first groups allowed out, they put our luggage in the farthest corner of the luggage area, creating a huge line as we had to battle the luggage carts coming and going. Shouldn't the first groups be closest to the exit so the space clears out early? Too difficult for NCL to do.

There are just too many passengers for the number and space available in the entertainment venues. Everything was SRO, sometimes 20 minutes before the performance. What a waste of time for many who waited in line up to one hour for certain performances! How can you possibly call an outside area a "lounge"? It was part of the deck for goodness sake. When it began to rain during the viewing of the Super Bowl there was no where to go. Every possible public seat was already in use.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside Stateroom

Cabin IE

When on the Atlantic, it sounded like 20 men moving equipment all night.

No drawer space, only small shelves in the closet. Don't bring much!

Port Reviews

San Juan

Excellent tour of Old San Juan which fit perfectly into the ship's arrival at 3pm.

Martinique

The taxi driver's English was okay but since there were French speakers he seemed

better able to communicate with them. Saw the rain forest, Mount Pelee and some remains in Saint Pierre.

Tortola

Took ferry to Virgin Gordo and the Baths. Excellent though not recommended if not fit.

Barbados

Couldn't get into the Boatyard so went next door to The Lobster something and had a great time and a better view!

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Shipwreck Bar was absolutely great. No charge for the lounges, all in the shade of the trees. Excellent food and drink, reasonably priced.

Dominica

Went to Mero Beach. Excellent!

St. Maarten

Excellent Beach right next to Orient Beach on the French side.

St. Thomas

Magen's Bay was excellent.
