We bought this cruise because we wanted to find some warm weather in our winter. I think we were unlucky, the itinery called for two sea days which were both a wash out. Cozumel Mexico was very disappointing as was Ocho Rios. The highlight was Stirrup Cay Norwegians private island. In Ocho Rios (Jamaica) we did the 'Best of Ocho Rios ' excursion. Some people chose to climb the Dunn River Falls, it took ages the crowds were huge, so having seen the Falls it was a long wait before we were able to carry on to the Milford Gardens which were actually very interesting. The gardens guide was very knowledgeable about the plants and animals on display. The tour guide though very talkative and entertaining did not arrange a stop at a café for drinks or a snack so it turned out to be a long tiring trip.

This was our third time on the Epic and we love it. The staff, the food, the public areas are very good. Our only complaints were that the hot tubs were supposed to have a limit of 15 minutes and no food or drink but people hogged them and the serving waiters served food and drink to the people using them. The signs with the rules should be more visible and rules should be enforced. The tender organisation for Grand Cayman was chaotic and it took ages to get off the ship, though at Stirrup Cay it was better. The main shows have not changed since January 2016 at least which does not encourage people to return to this ship.

We had an inside cabin which was big enough for our needs and quite comfortable. The cabin steward Wayan was very good. We are going to try the Star next in July.
