We did a river cruise in 2010 and loved it. We have always planned to take another Viking cruise, however, life came in the way of children's college graduations, trips to India to visit family, and lastly a child's wedding.

We love the level of service offered by Viking and its employees. Both of us are veterans of the hospitality industry, we are hotel school graduates, we have worked for luxury hotel chains across the globe, we have taught hospitality in colleges, and we know god, well trained staff when we see the end result. We have not traveled with our adult children with Viking as yet, but we plan to.

The Viking Star was a very pleasant experience right from the ease of booking, the value for money, arrival at the airport and the transfer to the ship could have been a little more quick, however the staff was always smiling and happy to see all of us at the San Juan airport. The embarkation was very smooth and quick. The Cabin was very well appointed, and Comfortable. Our floor steward, Mohammad, was a pleasant surprise of our cruise, always smiling, ever ready and happy to serve.

Cabin Review

Cabin Have no idea

Great shower!!!

The room had very good lighting for easy reading, and the seating was adequate for two. I would really recommend a good night chocolate on the pillow at the night turndown service.
