Just came back from the Mexican Riviera cruise on the Carnival Miracle. This was my first time on a Spirit class ship and I'll have to say it's now my favorite.

This was a New Year's cruise leaving on December 31st. Embarkation was typical for Long Beach. It was a bit cold and slightly rainy which must have kept the crowds down. We got on the ship fast and made it to the Red Frog Pub first.

For the first night we tried the Steakhouse. It was excellent and since it was the first night of the cruise we were able to buy two bottles of wine at half off. Not bad. First night also had several events for New year's eve.

Cabin 4K

This cabin has a balcony cabin set up but has a life boat out side. The cabin was perfectly between two life boats so we were able to see outside and see the water.
