Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Ocean Suite

We have gone from balcony to junior suite to ocean suite. This was probably the quietest cabin we've had- except for the young elephants running down the halls, and a kid next door who loved to sing loudly on the balcony. Our steward Asih was the best!

Because of the timing, the winter holidays work very well for us, and the Mexican Riviera always has great weather. Very glad we got back to 3 ports (including Mazatlan) instead of two. We love Cabo, but 2 days is too much. It was nice to be somewhere we knew things. Puerto Vallarta was our first port this time. We did a tour, and a bit of shopping, and our tour guide was great. Mazatlan was a great day. We had a regular open taxi take us to the shopping (gold) zone, and then he came back to pick us up. He also gave a great "tour" of things we hadn't seen before. The weather in all 3 ports was perfect!

Food wise, we would DEFINITELY recommend the steakhouse! The service by Kristyan, and food are AMAZING! I had lobster, and my husband had the Cowboy Steak. This is the third time we've eaten at the steakhouse, and have never been disappointed. We really love the sea day brunch in the dining room- never been disappointed there either. Enrico was the best server! Most of our dining ended up at buffets, etc., which seems to be relatively bland. Pizza and the deli were great. Red Frog pub is always fun, and Eddie and Emmanuel are great!

Ocean Suite

Nice and quiet!

Port Reviews

Los Angeles

We live an hour from Long Beach, so are familiar with the area. Lots of great things to see!

Mazatlan

Got a taxi from the port, and got dropped off at the Gold Zone. Our same taxi picked us up as agreed, and he took us on a cool tour on the way back to the ship. Things that you wouldn't necessarily see on a regular tour.
