We chose this to have an enjoyable cruise over the holiday season. It was an easy in/out from Ft. Lauderdale with no flying required for us. The itinerary was interesting to us, to explore the Yucatan Peninsula. We booked two of the three excursions with private companies, using the reviews from Cruise Critic and other blogs as guidelines. We used South Shore ziplines in Roatan and cavetubing.bz in Belize and loved both tours. We felt that we got more for our money by booking these and we would recommend both of these to others. In Costa Maya, we booked an excursion through Princess mostly because it was an all day affair going into the jungle to visit Mayan ruins and we wanted to make sure we would get back to the ship on time. The only shipboard entertainment we saw was the impersonator who was able to do many musical artists from the 1940's through current day singers. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We didn't have to exchange money in any of the ports. Everywhere we went we were able to use USD. It's best to have small denominations.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MB

No issues. This is our usual go-to cabin type and we were very satisfied with it. We sat on the balcony and had a great view with no obstructions. The Princess mini-suites have plenty of room are quite comfortable. There is a refrigerator.
