The cruise left a bad taste in my mouth before we were even on the boat. The ship was switched from the Valor to the Liberty about a month or so before the cruise was set to sail. It changed our embarkation time from early afternoon to about 7pm. The boat did not leave port until 10pm. All of the pools and hot tubs closed at either 11pm or 12pm, which was not a lot of time considering they did not uncover them until we left port that night anyway. We also paid for the drink package which was $345 with taxes and gratuities, and it included that first day that we had cut short.

The next day was fairly uneventful, and was spent hanging around the boat drinking and going to events onboard.

Saturday, our destination day in Nassau, was the biggest problem day. Upon return from the island, we could not get into our room. Apparently the battery in the card reader was dead and needed to be swapped out. The housekeeper for our rooms explained that even their cards were not working, maintenance had been called twice already, but that we could go down to Guest Services and see if there was anything they could do. We went down to their desk and the girl printed two new cards for us, as well as one “key only” card to try. They didn’t work either, so we called them and they said they would send someone from Maintenance to help us.

Cabin Review

Interior

Cabin 4A

The cabin was small (expected) and well-kept. Our housekeeper did a great job the entire time and it was so nice to come back in the evening to a tidy room.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Beautiful area, very expensive.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Very crowded and unorganized.
