The week after Thanksgiving is a great time to cruise as it is inexpensive and uncrowded. There were relatively few families on board, but lots of young singles from South America. We found no lines getting checked in, being seated for meals, or finding a chair on the deck. We really enjoyed the beverage package even though we aren't big boozers. It was luxurious to be able go to the bar, order whatever we wanted, even soda, or enjoy wine with meals. We'll will be spoiled for future cruises. Freeport was very damaged by a hurricane, so I'd probably skip going to that port. Nassau was beautiful! We chartered a small private boat--approximately $200 for 4 people--and went to a beautiful snorkel spot. The comedian was terrific!!!!! The only complaint is that I was eaten alive at Great Stirrup Cay, so I will certainly bring bug spray for next time.
Very small, so we kept our clothes in a suitcase under the bed. Since it was so uncrowded, we showered in the almost deserted public spa bathroom--very nice!
