We chose Carnival for a short cruise for a mother and daughter. She purchased it online, but did not receive any special deals.

We had no air in our balcony suite. It took 3 calls and 45 minutes to go down to guest services each time to see what could be done. The technician finally came in and said it was 71 degrees and that is acceptable for them, but my daughter was sweating all night. Their only solution was to bring a 20 x 20 inch fan in, so we had to walk around it the rest of the cruise. We should have asked to be moved, but we had unpacked all our belongings.

They did not notify us until Thursday night before the Sunday cruise that they were not going to Freeport. My daughter called them, but it was too late to change all of our flights. I heard from 4 people in 2 airports that they never go to Freeport because the ship is too big.I called the Freeport tourism after coming home, and they said everything was fine and visitors were there. Carnival personnel were blaming it on Hurricane Matthew.
