Third time on the Dawn's two week repo and many times on the Dawn. Our fave ship overall. The Hotel Director Alain runs a tight ship, corporate decision not withstanding ! Of the 2200+ guest on board, over 500 are Norwegian Platinum Member ( the highest level of their loyalty plan ), it speaks volume on the popularity of the Dawn. Jose and Patti, the main entertainer on board is one of the reason that guest come back to the ship. The Atrium where they usually perform is always full with the staff adding folding chairs for additional seating.

The newly renovated Dawn has it's ups and downs. The down being the temperamental stateroom toilet, it flushes when it want to, sometimes more than a minute after one push the flush button. New carpet, room furnishing, new venues gave the Dawn a flesh look. A bit disappointed that the Statue of Liberty on the port side and the dolphins on the starboard side of the ship was painted over in renovation ( another corporate decision no doubt ).
