This cruise was back-to-back with Norwegian fjords. We chose it because we have done the Caribbean and Mediterranian, and wanted something different.
The itinerary was supposed to be Stockholm, Estonia, St Petersburg, and Helsinki, but the weather was bad in Stockholm, so we went to Estonia, then spent two nights in St Petersburg instead of the one we were scheduled for, and then went to Helsinki. I know some folks were disappointed, but we were happy to spend more time in St. Petersburg as we have both spent a lot of time in Sweden.
Seranade is a little smaller than the larger ocean-going ships, as it goes up through the fjords of Norway, and I expect a larger ship may not be able to navigate some of those narrow passages. We actually enjoyed the smaller ship. The big ones can be a bit hectic.
Nice cabin. It was quiet, had a great view, and was pretty standard with king bed, sofa, shower, table with chair for writing, working at computer. Both 220 volt and 110 volt outlets. Hair dryer included. No coffee pot, but we carried a small pot that made two cups of hot water and carried Folgers singles so we could have coffee immediately in the morning.
Port is very convenient and accessible.
