The food and service - always outstanding! The shows, this time, "meh" at best.

For whatever reason, the cruise director seemed to take over the shows as if he was the star rather than the actual talent. He also demanded attention and respect without trying to earn it. The shows are better without him hogging the spotlight throughout. There were no elaborate shows, other than the "Elements" show, which was good, but not up to usual NCL standards from past cruises. NO shows at all with costume changes and themes. The "Showdown" featured a mock version of TV's "The Voice," which was very poor. This was one where the cruise director placed himself above the talent and took over the stage. It was very awkward and unusual.

The cabin was great with NO problems at all. All specialty dining lived up to its HIGH standards and even exceeded it again at Cagney's Steakhouse and Moderno! The buffets can't be beat either. The ONLY weak spot in food was La Cucina. I can't say much more about the obvious! The food was awesome!

Santorini

We simply explored Santorini on our own. Mostly walking the day away. We even took the steps back down!
