First river cruise and loved it. Enjoyed the friendly atmosphere with crew and cruisers.

Arrived in Nuremberg 2 days before sailing. Flew to Munich from Toronto. Took Flixibus to Nuremberg (2 hour drive). Ate some great food (bratwurst and sauerkraut, pretzel, gingerbread) and drank some dark beer. Embarkation was smooth. Arrived at 2:30 p.m. by taxi (15 minute drive, 20 euros). Friendly welcome by crew members.

The cabin was small but had good storage space. The lounge was big, quiet, a relaxing meeting place. I would sit in one of the comfy sofas with a cup of coffee from their beverage corner and write in my journal. The dining room had a variety of seating arrangements. A chance to socialize with other cruisers and have a great meal. The soups and cheeses were delicious. The entertainment in the evening was George the piano player or you could hang out in the front/outside of the lounge and enjoy the view. If it was chilly they had heaters over the sofas to warm you up. One evening they had a crew show, very funny. I enjoyed the shore excursions, informative guides. The tours were only a few hours so never tiring. Always time in the afternoon for a dip in the pool or a short nap. The best part was the crew. Love, love, love them!

Cabin panorama balcony

Compact but a place for everything. Had two single beds, My bed was very close to the bathroom's sliding door but still had a little room to move around. Enjoyed the big window and the panoramic views. Closet was big with 20 hangers for clothes. Also, 3 convenient outlets to plug-in devices.
