We did the pre tour of Alaska first and joined the ship in Whittier. Princess were well organised on the tour and handled our luggage well. The embarkation process was smooth and quick. Luggage waiting on board and we went straight to lunch before exploring. Cabins were comfortable, great walk in wardrobe with plenty of hangers. Ship was quite easy to get around, but it did have some of those lifs that only went to certain floors, but on the positive side it made you walk more. We had pre-booked th 8:15pm dining sitting but on boarding this had been changed to 7:30. This was a shame as it didn't align us with the shows, unless we went late and we didn't see many. What we did see, wasn't anything to write home about. Though others raved. The dining experience was OK, but only 2 other guests turned up for our fixed dining, so they were the only ones we got to chat too. Previously ships, there had been 8/10 people per table and we all moved around and it worked well. Buffet breakfast and lunch was good. As were the snack bars. Service was good, had no issues. Had some great excursions, they weren't cheap though. Overall we felt the ship was a little bit flat. It didn't excite us
