Overall on average I had to give three stars. We left for our New England cruise in a hurricane so it was a bit rough the first few days. Our captain did a great job.The ship itself needs updating...rusty balcony, worn carpets, broken drawers and chairs, problems with In room TV system, staff didn't keep pool area free of dirty dishes and used towels, messages left on room phone for changed excursion arrived the day after it was sent. On the flip side, entertainment was terrific, ports were wonderful, they even brought in fresh lobster for dinner in Portland. The select dining was moved downstairs but the room is overcrowded, noisey and food comes out cool. We had to send cold food back several times. The ship laundry lost some of our clothes.Even the movies shown were not the best.there was a 9/11 service which was very moving though it should have been nondenominational, not Christian. The prayer delivered mentioned Jesus Christ...many non Christians were upset. We have done this cruise before on this same ship and we're sorry to see these negative changes.
Our cabin on deck 8 had a rusty balcony. Some of the draws in the closet were broken. There was a constant reappearing rust stain on the bathroom floor. In room TV constantly had to be reset.
Great time, good food, entertainment. The story of maple syrup was very interesting.
We loved the waterfall..could have used more time there so we could walk around. Our buse broke down on the way to the copper museum..spent half hour at a gas station before we got started enough to get to the museum where they sent a second bus. We had a great time there but again needed more time. We then toured the church..the ship waited for us since we were about ten minutes late.
