Cruised on Valor that was freshly refurbished, needed more work. There were tiles missing in parts of the ship. Got sick on board, not meaning sea sick. Spent 4 days with diarrhea the next day when returning home was in the ER at 2am. Was told it was most likely Norovirus. Gave customer service an opportunity to try to make it right with no success. Emailed CEO with no response. Was my 10th cruise, wife's 12th, and sons 5th. Carnival is getting "Cheap" with amenities. There seemed to also be less things to do on board. There was a lot of trivia it seemed but not a whole lot of other things. Many of the little things Carnival did in the past they no longer do. Chocolates, goodies in bathroom, or even bucket of ice in your room Looks like its another cruise line going forward since Carnival isn't even empathetic.
