Notes on Seabourn’s Sojourn. 1st to 8th September 2016 We have just returned from a splendidly hot and sunny cruise round the Mediterranean Riviera. Spain, France and Spain. This was our first time on a big sister, but we have sailed twice on Legend, a little sister. Here are all the special things we love about this Luxury cruise line Embarkation is welcoming, and without fuss. On our arrival at the terminal and our luggage was whipped away so quickly we had to rescue the hand bag. A drink was offered, check in was quick. Then we were greeted by Sophie at the bottom of the gangway, directed to the Colonnade for lunch, the holiday had begun. Everything done in less than half an hour. The balcony suite is more than adequate. Spacious, sofa, table and chairs, lots of drawers and cupboards, a walk-in wardrobe and a fridge filled with our requested drinks. There is a dressing table and a magnifying make up mirror. The balcony has two loungers and a table. Bathroom has two basins, shower cubicle, full sized bath-tub, good lighting and attractive tiling. Service is delightful. They can’t do enough. My OH says Seabourn offers you things you didn't know you needed, but you are very glad to have! All the crew greet all the guests and are pleased to see everyone. We always found a shady place to be during the day. It was very sunny indeed, and a bit hot for us, (but we are not complaining!!) Lots of drinks were offered by the pools all day long. …….There was one evening the dining room when service went a bit awry! We were told it was the introduction of the i Pads for ordering or my OH’s choice of pasta for the starter that caused the difficulty. We never found out, but the problem was obvious throughout the restaurant. We all smiled and the waiters were apologetic. The big ships are not so intimate as the little sisters… On Legend we were addressed by name, but the crew were not able to do this on Sojourn. These things did not impact on our enjoyment, I just thought I would mention them. Will we go with Seabourn again? In a flash!

Cabin Review

Veranda Suite
Cabin V2 812
Perfect position. You can walk through to the pool and the lift is just a couple of steps. so getting to any other part of the ship is simple. There is no noise from the lifts.
