We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and Cruise Line. The Canal was underwhelming since it was impossible to hear the transit narration over the PA system and therefore we missed the history and tidbits concerning the old vs new canal. Celebrity has run this route for years yet still has opening day problems on simple issues. Many times it looked like the previous transit crew had been removed and shot as many crewmembers were clueless on itinerary questions. Our room was Aqua Class which supposedly carries a premium service. I guess we missed that premium unless you count the fire above our cabin which caused a three pack a day smell in our room for the whole cruise. It was either Winston or Pall Mall.. The one redeeming grace was Blu the restaurant which indeed almost lived up to the hype. As typically happens, the crew was ill informed on many issues and typically answered a question in a way they felt you wanted to hear. Customer relations is misnamed. The ship is tired and in need of a good cleaning and repainting. Never again on Celebrity. The premium price is not worth what you receive!

Aqua Class

Cabin A1

Dismal at best. Fire in ceiling above our cabin ruined the experience. Smoke smell was awful for complete cruise.
