.lThis was our first trip on Equinox as we used to go in Eclipse but since the Eclipse no longer has Perry Grant as their entertainer now we gave it a miss as he was the reason we went on that particular ship. The Equinox is exactly the same layout and the food is excellent although some of the staff were not so friendly and the one time we did eat in the dining room (we prefer to go to the self service stations as I am one of life's "picky eaters" and sitting down to a three COURSE meal did not appeal to me) we noticed a huge wet patch on the ceiling and small droplets of water dropped onto the carpet at our table which was soaking wet our friend at the table pointed this out to the head waiter who just said we had some trouble and it will he fixed later!!!!!! Bad reply as this is the cause of legionnaires disease, through droplets of water hopefully this has been rectified by now. Everywhere else on the ship was spotlessy clean as was our cabin which was taken care of by the lovely Sherwin and his staff. And in the Casino bar we had Vladimir who was so attentative and nice we usually drank in there on an evening as cellar masters as was is no longer there. I am disappointed that celebrity have done away with formal nights as again that was one of the reasons we choose celebrity and if I wanted to be casual at dinner we would sail on another Cruise ship (we have sailed on Costa and PO but they were too casual in the evening for our liking) so please think about bringing back Formal Evenings. My last review would be the lack of transport to the cruise ships, our first cruise on celebrity we had a bus to take us to southampton, the second trip cost us 4 trains, and our last one the trip to stanstead an overnight stay in a hotel to get to the "private jet" . I did ask Celebrity about this and was told try national bus service????? Come on Celebrity it adds expense to the trip and if you want to cut back corners then do so with something else not at he expense of your guests who have to travel far and wide to reach your ships. After saying all this we would consider sailing on Celebrity again as they definitely are the best but only if they start to provide transport to and from their ships.

Cabin Review

Cabin C1

Our cabin was kept spotless by Sherwin and his staff and every day our canapes appeared which were delicious.

Port Reviews

Rhodes

We did the open top bus here and enjoyed the trip although beware of overhanging tree branches I as hit in the face a few times having forgot to duck.

Mykonos

We loved Mykonos the littler quaint streets and shops are wonderful.

Santorini

Santorini was my favourite stop go up in the cable car and what a view we didn't go in the donkeys as we felt sorry for them out in the heat all day with no shelter.

Kusadasi

We didn't get off here as it was too hot this day so we stayed by the pool
