Our cruise was especially nice because of the people we shared it with. We had done this sailing twice before with some slight differences in ports. Overall, we loved the destinations. We would have rather gone to Croatia than Montenegro....but we still had a nice time. We booked private tours for most ports. They were all wonderful, without exception. We like the personal information and attention you get with a private guide, rather than being in a bus load of people. The cost is not much different than the ones offered by the cruise line. We highly recommend Rome in Limo in Italy, Barcelona Day Tours in Barcelona and Mont Tours in Montenegro.

We thought the food and service on the cruise was slightly less than we have experienced before. Our cabin and attendant were wonderful, and people working on the ship were very friendly. But service in the dining room was slower than normal.....it seemed like there had been a cut back in staff, possibly. The menu was not as varied and did not have the quality of past cruises. But on a cruise with so many interesting destinations, the food on shore is the highlight anyway.
