This is a great way to see and get an overview of the Hawaiian Islands. Overall cruise was great and we saw a lot! Service as has been reported was mixed. We were exposed to a lot of "new" service crew members and some tried harder than others and others were just plain "new" and not experienced. Some had language problems but as the week went on the service improved. I must say the upstairs complimentary dining restaurant was much more polished than downstairs, though we did get some great service downstairs too - as I said it was mixed. We did not try any of the speciality restaurants. The Buffet had great variety and quality of food, but its layout was confusing and did not flow well making for a lot of traffic and making it difficult to find what you wanted.

Cabin was great located on the starboard side above the life boats which were used to go a shore in one port. Fun to watch them maneuver them into place from our balcony. We were traveling with my parents and had adjourning cabins. We have been on other ships that had a better set up. Only one door between the rooms, not two as in other ships, so we left the door closed for most of the trip.

There was tons to do on the ship and we really enjoyed all of our excursions.
