The US Park Service staff were great to have on board and very informative. The Bay was remarkable.

Glacier Bay

The elements of this excursion were enjoyable, but it was the only point on the trip that we felt like cattle. The excursion company seemed focused on keeping us on their schedule and boxed in - to their benefit not ours - until they parked us in a gift shop. Also, we paid ($20 per person above the excursion fee) to try the buffet, but it was inedible. That said the dog sledding segment was one of the highlights of the trip.

Very good. "snack" was a joke, but otherwise it was enjoyable.

Kids and parents loved it. Lots of whales, seals and eagles. Long tour but worth it with Allen Marine. They were fantastic. The food provided on the trip was a surprise and enjoyable. The boats were clean and staff was terrific.

The cruise said their salmon fishing excursion was booked, so I hit the pier on my own to find a fishing charter. Fortunately there were other people doing the same thing. There's a "Fishing Charter" office right off the Cruise Ship pier that set 4 of us up with a local boat and captain. Between the 4 of us we caught 9 salmon over 5 enjoyable hours. The cost was $213 per person for the charter.

Plenty of humpbacks, but no orca's. An enjoyable trip.

We did the Wale watching with Allen Marine. They were fantastic. The food provided on the trip was a surprise and enjoyable. The boats were clean and staff was terrific.

The premium restaurants were relaxing, but there was rarely a quiet window to eat a meal at the included restaurants.- Buffet food was generally good and plentiful.
