We spent our time on board stumbling over kids which made up about 30% of the passengers. Paid up for an outside balcony stateroom and every time we tried to enjoy it, we were chased inside do to the noisy family next door. The staff was excellent as is the ship. Food was about average with the buffet being about the same as your local Golden Coral. Thank god for the premium drink package. The town of Skagway is nothing more than 4 blocks of jewelry and junk shops with Ketchikan being just a bigger version. Would have been nice to have had more time to explore Victoria. Our highlight was the helicopter excursion out of Skagway to land on and explore a glacier, but rather than take a cruise, we could have flown to Juneau and accomplished that for a lot less money while avoiding the kiddie circus. What next, people on board with their pets? My advice is to take this trip when the kids are back in school.

Juneau

Enjoyed the tram ride and some hiking. Did not join our friends who paid up for whale watching and as we anticipated, saw nothing.
