The cruise on Celebrity was our 3rd and we are always impressed with the level of service which is first class. We have both been in the hospitality industry for many years. The food was wonderful and the waiting skills of Batiz and Ever in the Opus Dining Room and the Sommelier, as well as the staff in the Porch Restaurant were extremely efficient, but friendly and courteous.

"Mrs" was a qualified chef before retirement and ran her own company. We experienced immense care of all the passengers with such a friendly but reserved attitude. Our cabin was immaculate and nothing was too much trouble and we were welcomed back to it by our stateroom attendant with a real sense "welcome". The entertainment was superb and the shows were first class. We enjoyed the excursions but did find at times they were too much for "Mr" but this was not Celebrity's fault, On the contrary, they did all they could to make our trips enjoyable and possible. (please read next paragraph)

My husband is disabled with walking difficulties although he is able to walk a few yards with difficulty. We were made to feel very special and all the Celebrity staff were not only courteous, but went out of their way to make him feel cared for and special, constantly aware that he might need help and providing it. However they never made him feel less capable than any other passengers. This is quite a difficult challenge for any carer, specially staff of a cruise ship, and their attitude was very appreciated. When we went ashore with his mobility scooter the staff would go down the ramp in front of him, steading his decent. When we arrived back at the ship they would quickly come down the ramp and push him up as the ramp was steep and his little scooter (which we needed to take because we were flying to Rome to board the ship) would struggle to cope. Thank you Celebrity for all the kindness you have shown to us both.
