Chose this cruise as dates fit into our grandchildren's track out from school and we wanted to see new places. Had Faster To Fun and highly recommend purchasing it if available. We breezed through check in and were able to board the ship immediately. We had sailed 3x previously on the Pride and enjoyed the smaller ship. The Magic is nicely appointed and well kept. it is a large ship and we never felt crowded in with the other passengers unless you were on the Lido at the pools. We did not care for the fact you could smell cigarette smoke outside of the Casino.

We enjoyed the additional eateries and features this ship has, though the bbq place was closed except on sail days then had long lines. The food in the Cuccina was delicious and worth the additional expense. We enjoyed having lunch there as well. In general the food was good to average. Portions are small, though you can ask for more which I did one night after getting only 4 shrimp in my entree. Our servers Andrew, Shalish, and Tin Tin were attentive and gave great service.

There is no adult only pool. Also, the pools are small and very crowded. It would be nice to have a pool or set time for children only swimming.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin 8D

Quiet cabin in good location. Rest of family had cabin next door. We had balcony divider opened and the grandkids were able to travel to either room without going into the hall.

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Arrived day early and spent day at Universal Studios

Belize City

Did not book excursion here though son booked private cave tubing and zip lining tour which they enjoyed. My spouse and I chose to visit the port shopping area and return to ship. With 3 ships in port area was extremely crowded. Usual tourist items to purchase.

Roatan

This was a beach day for us. Enjoyed some shopping in port for souvenirs . Beach right off ship is very nice, though had steep drop not far from shore.
