Recommendation from friends made us choose this cruise on Viking. The cruise was wonderful. Weather cold but the experience was warm and welcoming. The Christmas Markets and the holiday festivities were enchanting. The accomadations on the boat were more than adequate, the staff wonderful, food delicious and ship activities and excursions wonderful. We extended our trip on both ends and Viking was accommodating making trip wonderful. Transport from airport to ship was easy.

The ports of call were awesome and each one seemed to be better than the last. The staff presentations and entertainment was excellent. We really enjoyed the information given on each city visited and the local culture. Cruise is a great way to get a taste of each place visited, but not enough time to do in depth touring.

Food was outstanding and staff very attentive and helpful. No request or need went unmet. There were many choices, all delicious.

Cabin Review

French Balcony

Bed hard. Cabin small but we were never in the cabin except to change, shower or sleep. Cabins very clean and Cabin staff were awesome.

Port Reviews

Regensburg

Had great tour of town. Enjoyed sausage! And history. The tour of Turn and Taxis Palace was unforgettable and the medical Christmas market unforgettable.

Nuremberg

The WW11 tour was very good. The bus tour of the city and the castle was a highlight. The Christmas market a highlight.
